(New Zealand) - Kiwi fashion photographer, Craig Owen, will host his first major exhibition this month. Compiled over the past four years, Portraits is comprised of 20 images featuring some of New Zealand's best know models. Darker and more raw than your typical fashion shoot, Owen says he wanted the models semi-nude in order to strip away the fashion and create something different from his commercial work. HP: FINZ Fashion Education Conference

(New Zealand) - Fashion educators and industry representatives from around the country gathered in Tauranga last week for our annual two-day tertiary fashion education conference, which was held in partnership with Hewlett Packard and hosted by Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. This year's theme was 'The Future of Fashion' and an impressive line-up of speakers shared their perspectives on everything from sustainability and smart textiles to IT and fashion PR. Hokonui Awards Celebrates 20 Years
